First let me be the first to admit that I am addicted to combat flight sim's. I know that there are many of you like me out there who share the same passion, or as many wife's would say "Those silly little boy games".

How it all begin...

November, 2001 Oleg Maddox releases IL2 Sturmovik. A flight sim different from all the rest, the first one to be based in the Eastern front. The great patriotic war as the Russians called it. The flight models, damage models and graphics are shocking and delightful to the flight sim community. Oleg Maddox soon becomes a demi-god to the hard core flight sim junkies.

Calling Oleg Maddox a demi-God is no small boast. He almost has a cult following and for good reason. Why you ask? Well, you would not understand unless you are cursed with this affliction that we like to refer to as a passion.-The Webmaster
